| Steve and I found a stamped dollar bill one day in 2001, when we received it in change for a latte at Early Morning Espresso, in Billings Heights. It had "Track this Bill - www.wheresgeorge.com" stamped on it. I stamped and tracked money too for awhile, but now Steve is really addicted to the hobby of tracking his money. Steve stamps the website addres on his dollar bills, and then sits back and waist for emails to roll in telling him where his dollars have been traveling. We've had some hit as far away as Guam, Germany, and even ANTARCTICA!. One good thing that has come out of this hobby is getting to meet fellow "Georgers" across the country. We have met "Bruce" from Wisconsin, "Dale" from Ohio, and "Tim" in Seattle. Anyone can track George. Just log on to the website at www.wheresgeorge.com and enter the serial number and year of a dollar bill that you have. Write or stamp the website address on your bill so people who find it will know it's being tracked, such as "Track This Bill - www.wheresgeorge.com" Then sit back and watch the emails come in telling you where it's been, as people who find it enter it's serial number and track it as it continues on it's travels. |
